CO₂ Performance Ladder: from ambition to action
Reducing our CO₂ emissions is an important part of our sustainability strategy. At H2O Group, we actively work with the CO₂ Performance Ladder, a recognised certification system that supports organisations in systematically measuring, managing and reducing their emissions.
HYE, the largest company within our group, achieved Level 2 certification under the CO₂ Performance Ladder in 2026. This independent certification recognises the company’s efforts to systematically manage, monitor and reduce its CO₂ emissions. The certification focuses on the company’s own emissions (Scope 1 and 2) and also includes an initial systematic analysis of emissions across the value chain (Scope 3).
Through targeted investments, continuous monitoring and clear reduction targets, we continue to build a forward-looking and sustainable organisation.
